Westchester Dental Services/ IllustraDENT I have been a patient at this practice for some time but felt compelled to share my disappointing experiences. Over the course of several dental cleanings by two different hygienists, the procedures were consistently rough and uncomfortable. The polishing in particular felt overly aggressive, causing unnecessary discomfort, later bleeding and infection to gums. Additionally, during one visit, the x-ray technician seemed unprepared and lacked proper technique, making the process more difficult and stressful than it should have been. While I understand that dental care can sometimes be uncomfortable, the lack of gentleness and professionalism across multiple appointments has left me hesitant to return. I hope the practice reviews its hygiene protocols and staff training to prioritize patient comfort moving forward. If you’re sensitive to rough cleanings or looking for a gentler experience, I would recommend exploring other options.

I was to have antibiotic and pain medicine sent to my pharamacy after tooth pulled but when my husband went to,pick up it was never sent over. It was 630on Friday night and dr on call was very nice and sent over medicine -not sure why it never got there but problem resolved pretty quickly

They don’t even deserve 1 star. Horrible service, poor cleanings and just all around pure trash. One hygienist made up some story that if I didn’t get some treatment she was trying to sell me, that I was going to lose a tooth. Thankfully, I saw her used-car-salesman-pitch coming from a mile away and didn’t fall for it. That was 6 months ago and I have had no issues. They give you a 15 minute grace period if you are late to your appointment. But what they don’t tell you when you call ahead letting them know that you’re running late, is that you can’t get your cleaning done but they will still get the x-rays done. Of course, because that’s how they get more money from your insurance company. I can go on and on - canceling appointments from one moment to the next, etc. Bottom line: Unprofessional, (some) unskilled, careless hygienists, and not trustworthy at all. I don’t know how they’re still in business. Don’t waste your time or trust your teeth to these people.

This place has a 2.7 rating for a reason. I had the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had with a dentist office ever. The hygienist there is completely rude and unprofessional. I would never recommend this place to anybody. I had to cancel my appointment because I decided I never wanna come back to this place. The hygienist decided to call my cell phone to tell me how she could’ve had somebody else in my spot and called me just to make me feel bad, when I had given the appropriate 24 hour cancellation policy. Completely unprofessional, worst place ever.

I highly recommend this office. The front desk staff are courteous and professional, the dental staff in the back of house are professional and diligently complete their work. I went in for a dental emergency one day ( also a plus that they take walk in clients), and ended up making them my primary dentists. I travel from an hour away just to come here and won’t go anywhere else.
